Yes, the Journey can be paused or stopped after activation.
Pause - This will pause the journey and won't run it the next time or won't accept new users in the flow. However, users who have already entered the flow will go till the end.
Stop - This will do the same thing as Pause, however here the users will stop wherever they are in the flow and won't go till the end.
