Sometimes you may not want to send the broadcast to all the contacts at once. You can choose to send the broadcast to batches of contacts. The Slice and Send feature slices the contacts database to a size of your choice and enables you to define the duration over which you can send the broadcast, the frequency of sending, time and day of sending.
How to enable slicing feature
1 Go to Admin->Account configuration
2.Under Advanced details, enable Campaign slicing feature.
How to use Slice and send feature under email campaigns
1. In schedule section in email broadcast, under when to send click on slice and send. PFB screenshot
Here you have to add the slice size, duration, frequency and time. (You can send multiple slice campaigns in a day by clicking on add time)
There is a custom feature in frequency where you can select specific days. For ex: if you want to skip the campaign on Wednesday. PFB screenshot
