To troubleshoot any SMS delivery issues related to DLT Template scrubbing, please follow below steps

Step 1:  Login to BizBond Portal http://biz.mytoday.com/ with your login credentials

 

 

Step 2: Go to Reports >> Online Delivery Report

 

On this page, you can either search the sms delivery report for an individual number or you can also analyze the complete failures under delivery status’s like “Dropped” or” DLT template failure”.

 

 

Delivery summery reports on this page will be visible as shown below

Please find below description of Failure delivery status for your information,

  1. Dropped: Message published does not have DLT Template ID mapped in Netcore panel.
  2. DLT Sender Id Failure: Sender ID mismatched for the message published with the DLT template ID.
  3. DLT Template Failure: There is mismatched in message content and Template uploaded on DLT portal.

Basis the sms delivery status from the above descriptions you can take one of the appropriate actions as given below,

  1. If the delivery status is dropped, then please check “Template ID” column value if the value contains “-1” or “-2” or “999” then you will have to create a template on any one of DLT portal.

 

  1. If the status is DLT Sender Id Failure that means sender ID used while publishing message is mismatching with the header/sender id map for matching DLT template on DLT portal.

 

  1. If the messages are failing with delivery status DLT Template Failure, please check “Template ID” in reports and search the Template ID in DLT portal. If the Template ID is found to be Inactive & Deleted please create new template in DLT portal. We recommend our customers to download the complete template failure mismatched data and analyze the same to ensure all templates are whitelisted on the DLT platform and also on Netcore platform. 

 

You can follow below process for the same,

 

In order to check the details of failed sms’s due to DLT scrubbing, 

Step 3: Go to Report >> DLT DETAILED FAILURE REPORT

Using this you can download DLT Failure reports for Current & Yesterday’s date. 

 

You will get reports file with below headers,

Important Headers from the downloaded file,

Template ID: Ideally it should contain DLT Template ID, however for Dropped delivery status it will contain value “-1”, “ -2” or “999” which means published message does not have DLT template ID map on Netcore portal.

Sender ID: Also known as header.

Status:   This contains Delivery status of messages and if you have downloaded DLT Failure Reports then it will contain below values.

  1. Dropped: Message published does not have DLT Template ID mapped in Netcore panel.
  2. DLT Sender Id Failure: Sender ID mismatched for the message published with the DLT template ID.
  3. DLT Template Failure: There is mismatched in message content and Template uploaded on DLT portal.

 

Step 4: In this step we will show how to solve the failure causes.

Solution steps changes as per the Delivery status

  1. Dropped: All messages under this status mean that published messages does not have DLT Template ID mapped in Netcore panel.

If the delivery status is dropped, then please check “Template ID” column value if the value contains “-1” or “-2” or “999” then you will have to create a template on any one of DLT portal.

Eg. 

Message: Hi Karbonn Team, Your Tracking server is not responding.

Template: Hi {#var#}, Your {#var#} server is not responding.

Once the Template is approved on DLT portal, please map the template along with DLT template ID on Netcore portal. To refer the video tutorial please click here.

 

  1. DLT Sender Id Failure: Sender ID mismatched for the message published with the DLT template ID.

If the status is DLT Sender Id Failure that means sender ID used while publishing message is mismatching with the header/sender id map for matching DLT template on DLT portal.

In Reports, please refer column “Template ID” and “Sender ID”. 

Search Template ID in DLT portal and add header for searched DLT Template ID to solve DLT Sender ID failure.

 

  1. DLT Template Failure: There is mismatched in message content and Template uploaded on DLT portal.

If the messages are failing with delivery status DLT Template Failure, please check “Template ID” in reports and search the Template ID in DLT portal.

If the Template ID is found to be Inactive & Deleted please create new template in DLT portal.

If the Template ID is found in Disapproved, please validate the reason and correct the same. Major reason for disapproval of template is selection of incorrect message type.

If the Template ID is pending then please wait for approval.
